One eventful summer day!

Today finally felt like summer to me! YAHOOOOOO

**though it still doesn't change the fact that I have a review text tomorrow for my summer course that's worth 10% overall...

I had such an amazing day that I feel like I should get this up ASAP!

I'm excited to tell!

Just yesterday I posted a picture of me hiding all my long hair in my shirt, pretending that I got my hair cut to way shorter than before on Facebook and got positive feedbacks from people...so guess what?!










I CHOPPED IT OFF THIS MORNING!











What's even better is that the haircut was done by my trusty friend, Herman, who was kind enough to not charge me anything for the cut!

**yes, I was his first female client...

...and it actually turned out quite nice!!

This is probably the shortest I've gone with my hair...I've always been a long hair kinda gal. But, this summer I just feel like doing something different!

I even want to dye it to a completely unnatural colour!!! Like..purplish pink! **verdict?!
If anyone can help me with that or would like to share opinions on that idea, feel free to leave a comment!


Anyway, back to the haircut...

It was a funny situation because I actually couldn't careless about who cuts my hair; I had always gotten my hair cut at $10-15 places where the cutting jobs could get sloppy!

So when Herman told me that he's never cut a girl's hair before,  I was like...

"uhm..I've been through much worse situations where the back of my hair literarlly looked like I've been bitten by some crazy animals."


I was actually so pumped that he agreed to do it!

Both his roommates were freaking out for me because they didn't think Herman would be able to do a decent job and that I didn't know what I was getting myself into.

Apparently Herman himself was sweating while cutting my hair!! (seemed like I was the chillest person in the whole apartment about the haircut...LOL)


The last time I got my hair cut was way back in winter break, and look how long it's gotten since!
**I got it cut to shoulder length in the winter

...yes, we set up a super unofficial workspace in the washroom...

I've never seen the back of my head like this before!! Gotta say, long hair does look pretty nice! **bahahaha slap me if you want, but let's be honest, there's just something special about long hair!!

But then I got it cut to this short...

THAT WAS A GOOD 15cm OFF MY HEAD!!


During the cutting, I was looking around, drinking coffee, checking cellphone and chatting occasionally...I wasn't nervous at all!! I mean, seriously..shouldn't I be more aware and cautious about the consequences of a bad haircut?!

I even took selfies with my own hair in hand!!

Gotta say though, it was some of the best hair cutting experience I've ever had!

I mean, he actually did research on different types of cuts, different types of styles and how to actually cut! Even I was impressed when I saw his 8 internet tabs on his computer all about cutting girl's hair!

So friends in Ottawa, if you want a cheaper haircut, shoot me a message and I will hook you up with some cheaper, fun haircut appointments with this dude!


Just when you thought that was eventful enough for me, something even more exciting happened.



A HUSKY CAME TO VISIT ME!















...okay, fine, maybe not, but he was here!


My amazing friend brought over his ex-roommate's doggie!!

and see that little plant beside the doggie?! He also brought over that little baby for meeee!

Could my day get any better?!


I walked him around the neighbourhood for about 30 or so minutes, (YESS, JUST HIM AND ME!!) and though he was a bit of a beast, I enjoyed the walk very much.


It was more like him walking me, if anything.

I totally didn't mind because I actually felt cool walking him!! HAHAHA


How is it that doggies are always so energetic?!
They recharge so quickly and could run, pull and pee everywhere, anytime!





I don't think he's much of a fan for taking pictures though...because look how not impressed he looks in this picture!! It's like he's rolling his eye at the camera!
**either that, or he just didn't really like me that much... =___=
Animal therapy is the best.














After all that excitement, it's safe to say that I got a little tired myself too...














Sigh..sometimes I wish I have a pet!!

The rest of the day was pretty low key...because I used up so much of my energy already! Plus...I have to study for my stupid exam tomorrow...

which I need lots of luck for...
